I only visit Okinawa every once in a while and since I'm staying in a hotel on the seawall I wanted to try some of the restaurants located next to it. This hidden gem is absolutely delicious. If you go up the stairs it takes you to a beautiful view of the ocean and an inviting ambiance that is like no other. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive and if they didn't quite understand what I was asking for, they worked hard to find out a way to understand what I was asking for. The food was absolutely delicious - the side order of fries were the best fries I have EVER had. The cheese dip was delicious. The peace tea was good too, but be careful, they don't allow free refills on the drinks. I ordered a salmon, which was a small portion, but with the large portion of fries and the cheese dip I left full and satisfied. I would recommend this place any time you want to go somewhere fancy for delicious food and a beautiful view of the ocean.

Great cozy place by the seaside with great food and staff.

Fondue - excellent. Steak dinner - delicious. Sunset views - unbeatable. It can be hard to get a table on occasion, but 90% of the time I've been able to sneak in. Staff is always very friendly and I haven't found anything on the menu that hasn't been tasty. Great place to catch lunch or dinner with family or friends.

The food is good, a little pricey for the portion you get. Great atmosphere and right next to the ocean for a sunset view. It's better to make reservations.

Delicious food, lots of drinks to choose from, beautiful sunset from the balcony. Seating indoors and outdoors on the balcony. Perfect for date night . Have Wifi. Recommended to book table in advance.

My wife had been here before and loved the food. We had drinks on the balcony overlooking the ocean and they were tasty. The presentation was great and the staff was very friendly. They have a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages freshly made. If possible, I would recommend taking a taxi, as parking here when it's busy is very difficult.

The best Seafood Paella hands down. The salmon, sea urchin and squid pasta is highly recommended. You can almost taste the ocean in every bite. Gorgeous sunsets. Simply beautiful! Sugoiku Oishi!!!

We came here to eat a dessert and chose the French toast with ice cream and fruits. It was soooo delicious and the portion is big, so both of us was full and satisfied after! The staff is soooo nice and friendly, we definitely recommend le transit café ! 😊

Ate before the restrictions and absolutely love the place! Our food was amazing and the view is great! I would recommended the beef salad! We got take out the other day and the chicken curry was delicious! One of my favorite places to eat on the island! I can't wait for restrictions to lift to return for a cocktail!

My favorite part of this cafe was how big the drink menu was even if you don’t like alcohol. Everything we ordered was delicious. We made reservations which I would recommend if you’re coming with more than two people. It started to pick up after 6:30- 7ish. Family friendly and they accept card.

I've gone to Transit Cafe 3 times now and all three visits have been amazing experiences. Staff super frendly. Food is amazing, drinks are on point, very well balanced menu with good vegetarian options.

Nice place for lunch with friends. We loved the view. Their portions for fish and chips we're big but it's also mostly fries. Still yummy though. I got the shrimp Ajillo which was good. Their smoothies are yummy too. Friend down their mango shake. She loved it.

This place has been my one of most favorite restaurant since they opened. I used to live by the area and this was my to-go weekend drink/food with my friends. It has changed since but still the favorite - great view, fantasizing pretty drinks and delicious food. Mainland Japan price but worth it. Great for date and fancy outings. Not for big group or with small child. Good may take time so sit back and relax with fantastic view of ocean.

Great place for food and drinks. It is amazing place to watch the sunset as well. The food here is western with Okinawan twist. I recommend having a reservation.

Pretty good but not consistent.I've eaten lunch here three times and dinner once. My lunches were very good, tasty. Dinner on the other hand was sub par. For dinner we had the cheese pizza with honey, what was supposed to be roasted pork turned out to be pork belly, a mixed salad, and the cheese fondue. Pork belly and fondue were tasty as expected but the pizza and salad I would not order again. I enjoy anchovies but the cheese pizza, which I didn't think came with anchovies, was very fishy tasting.The customer service was excellent, professional.

Great little find with very friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere. The food is very pleasing with a decent lunch menu. This combined with an amazing view make Transit Cafe a place I would very much like to return to.

Visited this nice cafe a few times for drinks at sunset and had a bite. Fish n chips, big enough we didn't finish the fries... almost though. Good snack for ¥980. I suggest ALWAYS call for a reservation as it's popular at sunset. It's on the 2nd floor so you get a great view. Not expensive and you get a view, especially when you can watch people enjoying the water. Nice that they have big windows if you don't want to sweat. lol It's a regular spot for us to irregularly visit.

First suggestion, call and make a reservation or show up early. Great food with a nice view but it can be difficult to get a table during peak times. Food is amazing, best cheese fondue on island!
